CLAM DIGGING EQUIPMENT

The razor clam shovel we recommend is manufactured by Willapa Marine Products with the blade set at the proper angle to take advantage on the method recommended by ODFW's Matt Hunter to dig razor clams from the wet sand. Extend the life of your razor clam shovel by applying a coat of nature's most perfect preservative, linseed oil, to length of the shovel's handel. Use an inexpensive floral shovel to dig bay clams in the hard pack sand and mud of Oregon's Bays rather subjecting the handle of the razor clam shovel to the stress of digging in hard pan.

Mark the weekend of June 28th on you calendar.; You will not want to miss SeaFest 2008 at the Hatfield Marine Science Center. SeaFest 2008 is going to be a hoot because it focuses on the marine environment with programs that emphasizes family participation.
